Councillor Adam Zerny is keeping his election pledge of consulting voters on what issues they feel Central Bedfordshire Council should tackle, with a questionnaire based on the feedback he received at several open meetings he held in June.

He said: “The meetings were really helpful for establishing the sorts of things people wish to see CBC do something about. From those, issues such as schools, roads, housing and opportunities for young people frequently came up. The questionnaires will give people the opportunity to add to this information which will enable me to truly represent the electorate at CBC meetings.”

Cllr Zerny added: “I believe this is the first time a CBC councillor has asked voters directly what they feel the council could for them, and the area they live in. I hope the results will give me a clearer idea of what needs doing.”

Forms should be returned by Friday, September 30, by putting them in collection boxes in one of the following places:
Camerons Newsagent, Potton
The Thornton Arms, Everton
The John O’Gaunt, Sutton
The March Hare, Dunton,
The Chequers, Wrestlingworth,
The Wheatsheaf, Tempsford.
